Thomas "Tom" C. Floyd

Thomas "Tom" C. Floyd, 68, of Chaseburg passed into eternal life on Monday August 24, 2015 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 5, 1947 to Charles and Lydia (Bolman) Floyd in Racine. Tom married Linda Sepenski on January 4, 1966 and they divorced in 2000. He married Sharon Loefflad on October 23, 2002. Tom served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Chaseburg American Legion Post #202 and the Chaseburg Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, watching sports and westerns, playing golf and spending time with family. Tom was an avid Packer, Badger and Brewer fan and deeply loved his dogs. His favorite song was "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Chaseburg; 2 sons, Jeffrey Floyd of Racine and Michael (Celestia) Floyd and their 3 sons, Axel, Lukas and Deitrik of Chandler, AZ; a daughter Shell (Thomas) Kreuzer and their 4 children, Karlee, Anna, Austin and Ava of Chaseburg; one sister Sandra Christensen of Fisher, IN; also Nikki and Levi Sisbach and their 3 sons Ruger, Gage, and Hoyt of Viroqua; Joey and Ashley Loefflad and their son Stetson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Timothy in 1979; his father Charles Floyd; his mother Lydia (Dickie) Floyd and his aunt Audrey Briggs.

A visitation will be held on Friday August 28, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley with a prayer service at 6:45 officiated by Rev. Donald Fox. Burial will be in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park at a later date. Online condolences may be offered at selandsfuneralhome.com.

Family and friends are encouraged to wear Packer attire to the visitation. He will be deeply missed by all.
