Teman A. Olson, Jr. 72, of Trempealeau and formerly of Onalaska, died Thursday February 6, 2020 at Gundersen Health in La Crosse. He was born January 19, 1948 in Savanna, IL to Teman and Laurel (Lapp) Olson. Teman served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 and was honorably discharged. He married Barbara Pazour on December 21, 1973 in Mt. Caroll, IL. Teman worked as a conductor for Burlington Railroad for many years. He loved motorcycle riding, gardening, woodworking and was an avid Pokeman player who went by Gym Trainer 70. Teman was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Survivors include his wife Barbara; 2 daughters, Candy Olson (fiancé Michael Turner) of Prophetstown, IL and Kristy (Todd) Voth of Stillman Valley, IL; a son Tim (Michele) Olson of Onalaska; 13 grandchildren, Angela, Teman, Brian, Parker, Christine, Desiree, Jessica, Brady, Timothy, Michael, Allison, Nicole and Courtney; great grandchildren, Kelliann, Alexander and Austyn; a brother, Terry Olson of Louisiana; a sister-in-law Dena Olson of Savanna, IL and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Don Arnold and Michael Olson.
A prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday February 11, 2020 at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley with a visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial with military honors will be in the Coon Valley Lutheran Cemetery. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com. “Death before dishonor.”
