Steven R. Inglett

Steven R. Inglett, 48, of rural Coon Valley, died unexpectedly Friday April 27, 2012. He was born to Ronald and Marjorie (Olson) Inglett on June 12, 1963 in Viroqua. Steve graduated from Westby High School in 1981. He graduated from UW-La Crosse in 1986 with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Math followed by a Masters in Computer Science from Iowa State in 1989. Steve was united in marriage to Patricia Wedel in Columbus, Wis. by Rev. Paul Jordahl on September 14, 1991. Steve worked for IBM in Rochester from 1989 to 2001 and has been a lecturer at UW-La Crosse since 2001. He was a member of Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church where he served as a videographer of many activities and events. He enjoyed photography, videotaping and working with computers and technical equipment.

Survivors include his wife Patti; 3 children Miranda, Abby and Ronnie all of rural Coon Valley; his mother Marjorie Inglett of Westby; 2 brothers Scott and Todd (Joy) both of Rochester, Minnesota and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Ronald in 1994.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 2, 2012 at the Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church. Rev. Dennis Hallemeier will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley and at the church Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time.
