Sheryl A. Pederson

December 19, 1957 — September 10, 2017

Sheryl "Petie" Pederson, 59 of La Crosse, passed away Sunday Sept. 10th, 2017 at the Onalaska Care Center. She was born Dec. 19th, 1957 in La Crosse to Wayne and Phyllis (Koll) Kuester. She graduated from Westby High School in 1976, where she met the love of her life, Terry. Sheryl married Terry Pederson on Sept. 4th, 1976. Over the years she worked at the Rubber Mills, and Le Cue Club (Fayze's),and also Fisherman's Diner for over 20 years with the last 6 years being spent at Tom Sawyer's as a waitress and cook. She loved her customers and always had a smile for them all. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandkids. If there was a Packer or Brewer game on, you could always find her watching or listening to it. If you needed the score all you had to do was ask.

Sheryl is survived by her husband Terry of 41 years; her four children, Craig (Heidi) Pederson, Brooke (Lamont) Hardison, Jessica Pederson and Kyle Pederson; 8 grandchildren Olivia Pederson, L.J., Biancaand Lavonte Hardison, Mary Howell, Mario Snead, Alliyah Pederson, and Jayquan Robinson; two greatgrandchildren, Kailana Russ and Myah Howell; her mother Phyllis Galstad, 5 siblings Kathy (Sid) Baker, Tammy (Chuck) Highman, Jodi (Duane) Powers, Rhonda (Mike) Dalton and Ken (Amy) Kuester; Ina��laws Bob (Sonja) Pederson, brothera��ina��law Jeff Pederson, sistera��ina��law Kris (Mark) Metzge, step brother Jeff Galstad and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Wayne Kuester and Stepfather Jim Galstad and her aunts Annette Ihle and Janice Raasch.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Rev. Mitzi Miyamoto will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017 from 4a��7pm at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley and at the church from 10am until time of service. A luncheon will follow funeral service at Coon Valley Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated in Sheryl's memory.
