Listen to Obituary

Sally Wilson, 85, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026 at Eagle Crest South in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Having professed her faith in Jesus Christ this past February, she entered into the joyful presence of her Lord and Savior, where she now rests in eternal peace.

Sally was born on September 6, 1940, in Naperville, Illinois. She graduated from Naperville High School before getting married and moving to Aurora, Illinois and eventually making her home in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Throughout her life, she was known for her quick wit, playful storytelling, and ability to make those around her smile.

She shared 22 years of marriage with Boyd Bogdan and 35 years of marriage with William "Bill" Wilson. She cherished the love and companionship they shared throughout their lives together.

Sally is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Jeff (Lenee) Bogdan and Scott (Kathryn) Bogdan. She was a proud grandmother to Nick, Matthew, Rachel (Mitch) Knight, Jared, and Ashley (Stephen) Johnson, and a devoted great-grandmother to Everett, Emerson, Walker, Scottie, and Wade. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with them and celebrate their lives.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Bob" Mueller and Henrieta (Miller) Mueller, and her sister, Paula (Thomas).

Sally found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved her dogs, enjoyed watching sports, fishing, and collecting teddy bears, dolls and jewelry. Her sense of humor, spirited personality, and gift for telling stories will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew her.

Though Sally will be deeply missed, her love, laughter, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." — John 11:25
