Robert C. Seiler

Robert C. Seiler Jr., 78 of Coon Valley, died Friday May 23, 2025 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He was born January 8, 1947 (Elvis’ birthday) to Robert and Carla (Peterson) Seiler Sr. in La Crosse.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1972. Bob worked at Trane Company, followed by Reinhart Foods and then Badger Corrugating in La Crosse. He enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years. Bob was an active member of St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral in La Crosse where he was an usher and greeter making many friends. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he held an Honors of the 4th Degree. He loved to hunt, go on road trips, collect western memorabilia and all things Elvis. Bob loved to sing and often would be heard singing Elvis tunes.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; a sister, Donna (Mike) Cushing and a brother, Paul Seiler both of La Crosse and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, David and Steve.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday May 30, 2025 at Saint Joseph the Workman Cathedral in La Crosse. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time. The Seland Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
