Robert D. Mueller

Robert D. Mueller, 71 of Stoddard, died Friday February 27, 2015 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. He was born November 19, 1943 in Alma to Andrew and Thelma (McCabe) Mueller. Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corps from June 1961 to June 1965. He worked as construction mason in the area for many years. Robert enjoyed celebrating the Marine Corp birthday, spending time with friends, hunting and listening to music.

Survivors include his significant other, Cheryl Jones of Stoddard; 3 children Shannon (Kai) Sullivan of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Erin Mueller of Tacoma, Washington and Andrew Mueller of La Crosse; his ex-wife Theo Flickinger; a sister, Betty (Bill) Knight and 4 brothers, Dale, Chuck, Larry (Nancy) and Rick (Sharon) Mueller. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held Sunday March 8, 2015 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Stoddard American Legion Hall with military honors at 2:30 p.m. by the Stoddard American Legion Post #315 and the U.S. Marines Honor Team. The Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
