Ora Lee Sova

d. March 13, 2017

Ora Lee Sova, 69, was called to eternal rest on Wednesday, March 13, surrounded by family at her home in Stoddard. She had been battling cancer since January.

Ora was born in DeSoto, WI, to Richard and Iona Seymour. During childhood, the family moved to California where Ora would graduate from high school and pursue a career in real estate development and building. Here she married Lyle. R. Ora and Lyle retired to Colorado where they spent many years enjoying the great outdoors. They were active members of the Gold Wing Road Rider's Association, seeing the world by motorcycle. They also provided snowmobile and ATV tours to friends, family and visitors alike.

After Lyle passed away, Ora returned home to Wisconsin. She's spent the last two decades surrounded by family, including her five siblings. Ora owned and managed the UPS Store in downtown LaCrosse. She enjoyed many special trips with her sister, her daughters and her grandchildren and was a generous hostess to countless family events and gatherings.

Ora was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Iona (Hickok) Seymour, her beloved husband Lyle R. Sova, infant grandchildren Chelsea Glenn Corfee and Joseph Lyle Pavela, and son-in-law Joseph F. Pavela.
