Nancy A. Nofsinger

Nancy A. Nofsinger, 65, of Coon Valley, died Wednesday January 25, 2017 at the Bethel Home in Viroqua. She was born February 24, 1951 in Viroqua to William and Arlene (Bjerkos) Holte. She was baptized and confirmed at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church and graduated from Westby High School in 1969. Nancy married Steven Nofsinger on June 6, 1970 at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Nancy worked as a CNA at the Bethel Home in Viroqua for 33 years, retiring in 2015 due to her health. She was a member of the Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Nancy enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She always made sure everyone was well fed at family gatherings.

Survivors include her four children, Angela (Chad) Oliver, Nathan (Danielle) Nofsinger both of Westby, April (Anthony) Greene of Onalaska and Amy Nofsinger (Mitch Schieffer) of Coon Valley; her grandchildren Cassandra, Brandy, Lauren, Alexzander, Megan, Leah, Kelsey and coming soon... grandson #2; three sisters, Shirley Engh of Coon Valley; Donna (Steve) Leis of Cataract and Susan (Terry) Kammel of La Crosse; a sister-in-law Laurie Holte of Coon Valley and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Steven on February 23, 2015; brother David; brothers-in-law Alan, Philip and Larry and sister-in-law Ledema.
