Mille D. Cooper

Millé Denise Cooper, 72, of Stoddard, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Millé was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and dear friend. Her magnetic personality, generous heart and unforgettable sense of humor has imprinted on so many hearts. She had a gift for lighting up every room and making people feel loved.

Millé loved her life in Wisconsin and cherished her view of the Mississippi River. Enjoying pontooning, fishing and the peace of nature. She also had a lovely talent when she would paint, and cooking for family and friends when getting together. When you thought no one was looking, she had a knack for having the camera ready, capturing everyone’s most embarrassing moments. Leaving memories that will bring laughter for years to come.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Cooper; daughter Randi Cooper, her wife Sonya, and son’s Matthew and Mikey Pelligrini; grandchildren Markie, Audrey, Avery, Kennedy and Jaxon; daughter-in-law Nichole; and sisters Calle and Connie.

She was preceded in death by her son Mark Pellegrini; stepson Jamie Meeker; parents Joyce and Calvin Matthews; and brothers Lantz Johnson and Craig Matthews. We can only imagine the “hooting and hollering” happening in Heaven as they welcome her home.

Rest peacefully, Millé. You are deeply loved, and you will be missed beyond words. Your laughter, spirit, stories, and delicious soul food are held deeply in all of our hearts.

A memorial gathering will be held from 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday October 3, 2026 at the Cooper residence, N2510 Highway 35, Stoddard. The Seland Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences can be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
