Maria I. Kutrovatz

Maria I. Kutrovatz, 74, of rural Westby, died Saturday February 18, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born in Hungary on December 3, 1937. In 1969 she moved to the United States and lived in the Chicago area where she worked as a medical lab technician. Maria moved to rural Westby in 2005. She was a member at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Coon Valley and enjoyed knitting and traveling.
Survivors include several nephews and nieces, both in the Chicago area and in Hungary and her special friend Frank Wolf of rural Westby. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Thursday February 23, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Coon Valley. Rev. Joseph Nakwah will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time.
