Louis L. Franks

Louis Larry Franks, 75, of Viroqua, passed away Tuesday, December 2 at the Bland-Bekkedal Center from complications due to Parkinson's. He was born July 9, 1939, to Louis and Genevieve (Stout) Franks. He graduated from West Lima in 1957. Louis worked for the Viroqua school district for 31 years. He was an avid deer hunter, going out whenever he had the chance.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Connie; son, Brad; daughter, Pamela; granddaughter, Angela; brothers, Gary, Fred and Dennis; and sister, Ellen; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence; his parents; sisters, Marie, Anita, Connie, and Debbie; and his brother, Ronnie. By Larry's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
