Kimberly R. Pieper

Kimberly R. Pieper, 59, of Stoddard, died Sunday November 7, 2021 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.  She was born September 13, 1962 to Gene and Shirley (Jacobson) Galstad. She married David Pieper in La Crosse on March 15, 1986. The couple farmed in the Chaseburg area for several years. Kim worked at River Bank in Coon Valley followed by Matthews Bows in Sparta, retiring in 2018. She loved spending time with David, fishing, gardening, and caring for her two German Short Haired Pointers, Hank and Clyde.

Survivors include her daughter, Jessica (Darin Geier) Pieper; her mother, Shirley Galstad; her brother, Todd Galstad both of Sparta; 2 sisters, Laurie Lightfoot of Sparta and Kelly (Ben) Engelbrecht of Green Bay and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David in 2018; her father, Gene and her brother-in-law Tom Lightfoot.

There will be no services. The Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley is assisting the family. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
