Jeffrey Leif Erickson

Jeffrey Leif Erickson, 75 of Springfield passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025 in Stuart, Florida.

He was born on March 18, 1950 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Jerene and Leif Erickson.

Jeff was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and the Elks Lodge #409 in Springfield. He was also a member of the Coon Valley, Wisconsin Conservation Club. He was co-owner of Erickson Transport Corporation and worked in the company over 57 years.

He loved hunting in Wisconsin for over 60 years. He hunted duck in his early days and loved to fish. He was also a huge Green Bay Packer fan! He enjoyed going to Table Rock Lake and hanging out with his friends and family there. Jeff loved to watch and play with his grandkids, the light of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Steven and Rick Erickson.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Kris Erickson; daughter, Tina Erickson Bell and husband, Travis and their daughter, Addison Bell; son, Shane Erickson and wife, Amber and their children, Allie, Carson, Josie and Rhett Leif Erickson as well as extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Coon Valley American Legion. Private family burial will be in Coon Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Coon Valley Baseball Association, P.O. Box 23, Coon Valley, WI 54623.
