Jean A. Kerr

Jean Ann Kerr,81 of La Crosse, died Thursday June 28, 2018 at her home. She was born Sept. 10, 1936 in Fargo, ND to Kenneth and Eloise Train. The family move to LaCrosse during her sophmore year in high school. She graduate from Old Central High School in 1954.

Jean spent over 30 years with Soderberg Optical, when she left there she enjoyed doing food demos at various grocery stores. She then became a hostess at the Olive Garden, a job she loved for 10 years, retiring after a stroke. The last few years she was a Volunteer at Hillview Nursing Home. She loved her volunteer work and cooking for her friends and family.

Jean is survived by her daughter Shelly(Bob) Hanson of Chaseburg, Two Grandchildren, Dustin(Megan) Hanson of Holmen, Jami(Brandon) Singleton of Eau Claire, three Great Grandchildren, Iseabal, Nathaniel, Elijah and one arriving in September; several cousins and her many friends at Carroll Heights.

She was a huge Badger, Packers and Brewers fan, if you would like to where any of your shirts or hats of these teams I know she would love that.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00pm. Tuesday July 3, 2018 at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley.
