Ingrid "Tootie" E. Schindler

Ingrid Eileen “Tootie” Schindler, 79 of Garland, Nebraska died Saturday May 31, 2025, at Emerald Nursing Home and Rehab in Lincoln, Nebraska. Ingrid was born January 15, 1946, in Viroqua to Virgil and Ingeborg Schindler. She is survived by her sister, Rita (Jim) Suellwold; two nieces, Michelle (Troy) Schaefer and Melissa (Chuck) Hasse; a nephew, Robb Suellwold; one great niece, Tara Janitischeck; great nephews, Luke and Nolan Suellwold, Trevor (Samantha) Patterson, Dalton (Sara) Hasse, Kolby (Amy) Hasse and little Croix.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, John and Ella Jacobson and Robert and Alice Schindler.

A private funeral service will be held at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley. Pastor Ben Morris will officiate with burial at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park, rural La Crosse.
