Glen E. Ekern

Glen Ellis Ekern, 65, died peacefully on January, 27, 2017 at Gunderson Health System.

Glen was born on September 27, 1951 in Rockford, IL. He later moved to Mauston, WI where he worked as a manager at Brunner Manufacturing for 22 years.

He is survived by his son, Garrett Ekern; daughter and son-in-law, Gillian and Michael Burling; grandson August Burling; brother, Gale; sister, Gina; and his mother, Eleanor. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday February 4, 2017 at the Middle Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Rev. Margaret Eiben Hoversten will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. until service time. The Seland Funeral Home is assisting the family.
