Duane A. Faas

Duane A. Faas, 69, of Black River Falls, died Thursday October 24, 2024 at UW Hospital in Madison. He was born September 27, 1955 to Warren and Patricia (Hauser) Faas in La Crosse. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. Following his naval service he attended Western Technical College for auto mechanics. Over the years he worked for Alan Cavadini, K-Mart and Menards. Duane enjoyed flying model planes and drones and working on cars. 

 Survivors include a sister, Darlene Faas of Coon Valley; 3 brothers, Douglas Faas of Menomonie, Danny (Grace) Faas of Brice Prairie and David (Jennifer) Faas of La Crescent, MN; several cousins, nephews and a great niece. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Diane Faas and 2 brothers, Dennis and Darral.

 A private service will be held. Burial with military honors will be in the St. Joseph Ridge Catholic Cemetery, rural La Crosse. The Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley is assisting the family. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
