Dorothy C. Miller, 77, of Stoddard went to be with her Lord on Saturday July 27 2013 at Hillview Health Care Center in LaCrosse.

Dorothy was born Nov. 21 1935 in LaCrosse to Hugo and Elsie (Young) Hass. She was born in Christ through baptism Dec 26, 1935 and confirmed her faith on June 26, 1949. She spent her early years on a farm in rural Genoa, and graduated from Viroqua High School May 28, 1953. She married Earl Miller of Stoddard at St Matthew's Lutheran Church in Stoddard on Aug 20, 1955. They farmed in rural Stoddard since 1964.

She is survived by sons; Douglas (Lynn) of Stoddard and Timothy (Julie) of Stoddard; daughter Laurie (Peter) Wentzel of Menomonie. Grandchildren; Trisha(Joshua) Jorstad of Westby, Douglas Jr. (Rebekah) Miller of Kenosha, Katharine(Katie) Miller of Ft. Atkinson, Kristopher Miller of Stoddard, Brittni Wentzel of Viroqua, Caitlin Wentzel of LaCrosse, Brian Wentzel of Menomonie, and 6 great grandchildren. Brother Raymond Hass of Genoa, brothers and sisters in law; Robert and Hazel Miller, LaVern and Karen Miller Marie and Alfred Berra, Minnie Sisbach, Mabel Knobloch, Frances Olsgard and Delores(Dee) Miller, many nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, infant brother, infant granddaughter Kristin, brothers and sisters-in law.

Dorothy enjoyed farm life with family and animals, seeing that their needs were met was a priority of hers. She took great pleasure in watching the Loggers, mowing the lawn traveling playing games and setting puzzles.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday July 31, 2013 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Stoddard. Pastor Phillip Arnold will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 9 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St Matthew's Lutheran Church.
