Donna O. Nordstrom

Donna O. Nordstrom, 81, of Lodi and formerly of Coon Valley, died Monday August 7, 2017 in Madison. She was born July 19, 1936 to Orion and Dena (Mathison) Tostrud and baptized and confirmed at Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church. Donna graduated from Westby High School and UW-La Crosse. She married Charles Nordstrom on June 28, 1958. Donna taught kindergarten in Cashton before teaching at Coon Valley Elementary School, where she taught 1st, 7th and 8th grades the rest of her career. She moved to Lodi in 2014. She was an active member of the Coon Valley Lutheran Church, WELCA and Ruth Circle. Donna enjoyed scrapbooking, playing piano, following the Brewers and Packers and spending time with family.

Survivors include 3 sons, Carl "Kip" and Colin Nordstrom both of Lodi and Marc (Michelle) Nordstrom of Stoughton; 7 grandchildren, Beth and Brady, Tyler and Dustin, Kellen, Kylie and Haley and a great grandchild Prycen. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charlie in 2007.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday August 12, 2017 at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Rev. Mitzi Miyamoto will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time.
