Deloris B. Berra

Deloris B. Berra, 84, of Stoddard, passed away peacefully Monday September 29, 2014 at her home. She was born January 31, 1930 to Acy and Lena (Podawitz) Suiter in Genoa Township. Deloris married Glenn Berra on April 9, 1947 in Stoddard. The couple farmed on Oak Ridge for 30 years before retiring to Stoddard in 1985. She was a lifelong member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid and a member of the Stoddard Lions Club. Deloris enjoyed her flower garden and playing cards.

Survivors include 3 children, Linda (Ed) Harkin of Cumming, Iowa, Carol (David) DeGarmo of Onalaska and Mark (Diane) Berra of Waukesha; 7 grandchildren Troy (Kim) Oliver and Tracey Oliver, both of Des Moines, Iowa, Amy (Jason) Kass of Duluth, Minn., Becky (Dan) Reinsvold of Onalaska, Ericka (Brad) Toutant of Hortonville and Jeremy and Jacob Berra both of Waukesha; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn on October 4, 1997, a granddaughter Jeanine Oliver and a sister Lucille Schultz.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday October 3, 2014 at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stoddard. Rev. Phillip Arnold will officiate with burial in the Stoddard Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time.
