Bryce N. Parker, 52, of Coon Valley and formerly of Readstown died unexpectedly of a heart attack Saturday October 1, 2011 at his home. He was born September 30, 1959 in Viroqua, Wis. to Burliss and Beverly (Ward) Parker. He married Sharon Matteson on June 3, 1986 in Harvard, Illinois. Bryce enjoyed walking and greeting people on the way. He was a loving and compassionate husband and father and Sharon's best friend.
Survivors include his wife Sharon; 4 sons Mike of Galena, Ill., Will (Meg) of Harvard, Ill., Norm (Heather) of Linton, Ind., and Joel of Coon Valley; 3 grandsons Caleb, Liam and Charlie; 3 sisters Sue (Craig), Fran and Lisa (Pete); 1 brother Burliss (Dawn) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held in Harvard, Illinois on Saturday October 8, 2011. Memorials may be given to the Coon Valley First Responders. The Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley is assisting the family.
