Brent Larry Leum

Brent Larry Leum 48, of Brownsburg, IN passed away Wednesday January 21, 2015. Brent was born March 1, 1966 in Viroqua, WI to Larry Leum and Linda Del Fabro (Olson). He was baptized and confirmed in Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Brent grew up in Coon Valley, WI and attended Coon Valley Elementary School. He moved with his family to Avon, Indiana in 1980. Brent graduated from Avon High School in 1984 and went on to graduate from Vincennes University with a degree in business.

As a young man, Brent was also known as "Lum" grew to love the game of baseball and played baseball for many years while having the opportunity to coach many young players along the way.

Brent was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed all outdoor activities. His love for hunting and fishing was always close to his heart. Whether it was the coffee in the morning or a beer shared after, you knew he was happy by the smile on his face.

Brent was a devoted businessman and never met a stranger and made everyone comfortable around him. He was committed to his business partner at ICR Fence Company and together they built a successful business. Brent's firm handshake and smile was a commitment to his success.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Leum; children, Taylor, Hunter and Lauryn; parents Linda (Kim) DelFabro and Larry (Gerri) Leum; brother, Brandon and sister, Brenda; grandmother, Annie Olson; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many wonderful friends.

He was preceded in death by his special maternal grandfather Thoralf "Tug" Olson, special paternal grandparents Milton and Vivian Leum, special godfather and uncle Anthony Olson.
