Betty J. Williamson

Betty J. Williamson, 90 of Beloit and formerly of Genoa, died Tuesday September 16, 2025 at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Beloit. She was born January 16, 1935 in Elroy to Clarence and Delphia (Champlain) Sorenson. Betty married Harold Williamson on April 23, 1955 in Mauston.

She enjoyed camping, boating, reading and playing bingo. She loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family was very important to her.

Betty worked at Chrysler in Belvedere Illinois for 32 years.

Survivors include a son, Ray (Renita) Williamson; daughters, Sandy, Jean (Buzz) and Betty; grandchildren, Brandon (Allison), Andrea, Josh (Cherrise), Bryan (Krystal), Lindsay (Chase), Mike, Jessie (Mat) and Shawn (Amanda); great grandchildren, Evan, Leah, Wyatt, Creed, Corbin, Arya, Raylan, Rylee, Garrett, Mason, Dominic, Anna, Trentyn, Tylr, Avia and Jordan (Amber); a great grandchild Arabella; two sisters, Beverly and Vicki.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; six brothers, Henry, Ray, John, Gene, David and Steve; a sister, Beatrice and two sons-in-law, Bob Lund and Larry Stricker.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday September 20, 2025 at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held from 10 am until service time. Rev. Ben Morris will officiate with burial in the Stoddard Cemetery. The Seland Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
