Barbara L. Larson

Barbara L. Larson, 79 of Chaseburg, died Wednesday May 14, 2025 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born April 13, 1946 in La Crosse to Morgan and Hazel (Dingeldein) Nagle. She graduated from Central High School in 1964. Barb married Jerry Larson on June 27, 1964 at Lower Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Over the years, she worked at Jack Winter, The Company Store and Bethany Riverside Care Center. Barb was a member of the Chaseburg Snowtrailers and Lower Coon Valley Lutheran Church. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping, gambling and playing cards and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; a daughter, Tammy Hanson of Viroqua; a son Tim (Jeanna) Larson of Stoddard; 3 grandchildren, Travis and Kyle Hanson and Vanessa Larson (fiancé Evan Babcock); 3 sisters, Darlene (Wes) Larson of Stoddard, Rosie (Rodney) Hacht of Columbus and Kathleen (Rodney) Berg of Chaseburg; a sister-in-law, Sharon Nagle and a brother-in-law Marlin Ladwig and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Kody; 2 brothers, Timothy and James Nagle; a sister, Nancy Ladwig and a brother-in-law, Arles Larson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday May 24, 2025 at the Lower Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Rev. Diane Martin will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church from 9 to 11 a.m. The Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley is assisting the family. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
