Ashley J. Darrow

Ashley J. Darrow, 37 of Tomah and formerly of West Salem, died Wednesday November 19, 2025. She was born in La Crosse on September 12, 1988, to Wayne and Jane (Johnson) Darrow. She graduated from West Salem High School in 2007. At the young age of 17, she became a mother to her daughter, Hailey. Ashley with determination finished high school and went on to eventually earn a master’s degree in health care management. Some of Ashley’s favorite things were photography, taking pictures of nature, birds, sunsets and her girls. Ashley had another daughter Bella at age 35. She loved animals, especially her dog Lilly. Pink was her favorite color, so it was no surprise she loved pink roses. Other favorite flowers were sunflowers and lilies. Ashley had a heart of gold, and her family is so happy her heart will continue to live on as an organ donor.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Haley Bronner and Bella Darrow of Tomah; her parents, Jane (Mike) Decker of Chaseburg and Wayne Darrow of Tomah; her brother, Cody Darrow; paternal grandmother, Haddy Darrow; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Cecil Darrow; maternal grandparents, Jim and Beverly Johnson; an uncle, Bobby Darrow and an aunt, Julie Jean Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday December 6, 2025, at the Middle Coon Valley Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until service time. Rev. Meg Hoversten will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. The Seland Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
