Angeline "Angie" A. Hagen

Angeline "Angie" A. Hagen, 88, of Chaseburg, died Monday June 19, 2017 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born March 17, 1929 to Rudolph and Verna (Hohlfeld) Clements. Angie married Donald Hagen on July 31, 1948. The couple farmed at rural Coon Valley before moving to Chaseburg in 1973. Angie worked as a cook at Stockmen's in Coon Valley and then at the Chaseburg School until retiring. She was a member of the Middle Coon Valley Lutheran Church and WELCA. Angie enjoyed gardening, baking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. The past 7 years she has been a resident of Norseland Nursing Home in Westby where she enjoyed playing 6,5,4 and bingo.

Survivors include her 9 children; James (Julie) Hagen of Texas, Wayne (Pat) Hagen of La Crosse, Richard (Nancy) Hagen of Plover, Diane (David) Stellner of Coon Valley, Bev (Harlan) Reschke, Steven Hagen, Nancy (Douglas) Bean and Chris (Diane) Hagen all of Chaseburg, and Eric Hagen of La Crosse; 19 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 4 brothers; Bernie (Theresa), Rudolph (Mary), Donald (Mary) and Richard Clements; 3 sisters, Margaret Schaub, Kathleen Erickson and Luella Clark; a sister-in-law Sharon Nelson and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald in 1976 and a sister Florence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday June 24, 2017 at the Middle Coon Valley Lutheran Church, rural Chaseburg. Rev. Donald Fox will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11 am until service time. Memorials may be given to the Middle Coon Valley Lutheran Church. The Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley is assisting the family. Online condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
