Allen "Al" L. Lueck

Allen “Al” Lueck, 71 of La Crosse passed away Sunday March 15, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born May 29, 1954 to Aloysius and Margaret (Meier) Lueck. Allen was employed by the County of La Crosse and worked on their road crews. He also was employed at Forest Hills golf course during the summer for his “fun money”. He was a member of the Shelby Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years and a member of the Badger Sportsman’s Club until his death. Allen was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, riding in many fundraisers such as Big Bikes for Little Tikes, Veteran and Autism rides and the Thunder Ride for juvenile diabetes, where he mapped the route. Allen loved to hunt and fish with his son, Jake whom he outfished every time!

Survivors include his son, Jake (Caity) Lueck, daughter, Kiaya Lueck; grandchildren, Gunner, Colton, Addilyn and Willow, who were the joys of his life. Siblings, Robert (Julie), David (Arlene), Debbie Lyskowski, Vicky Faas, Cheryl (Joel) Anderson, Kevin, and Becky Valentine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius and Margaret Lueck, brother, Brian Lueck, brothers-in-law, William Lyskowski, Terry Valentine and Darral Faas.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12 to 4 p.m. Saturday April 11, 2026 at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are appreciated.
