Alan "Albie" C. Clements

Alan “Albie” C. Clements, 63 of Bangor and formerly of Coon Valley, died Sunday January 11, 2026 at Gundersen Emplify Health in La Crosse following a 1-year battle with cancer. He was born January 29, 1962 to Ralph and Josephine "Joanne" (Leis) Clements. He graduated from Cashton High School in 1980. Albie married Marilea McClintock on September 16, 1989 in West Salem. He farmed the Clements home farm on North Ridge, rural Coon Valley. The couple moved to Bangor in 2024. He was a member of the Bohemian Valley Watershed. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Marilea; 3 children, Cody (Arlisa) of Coon Valley, Jason (Marisa) of Westby and Courtney (fiancé Timothy Calkins) of La Crosse; 8 grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie (LaVerne) Hemmersbach; 2 brothers, Phillip (Debra) Clements and Mark (Annie) Clements; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Martin; his father and mother-in-law, Roger and Marvel McClintock and nieces, Jennifer and Kimberly Clements.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday January 16, 2026 at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Private burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A celebration of life will also be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Nick’s Bar in Barre Mills. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
